I've spent close to two decades building and fixing things for businesses. For most of the last year I've been working with a Scottish design agency as their technical partner, and I'd like to do the same for others.
The arrangement is straightforward. When a client project needs technical work your team doesn't cover, you bring me in. I handle it, you deliver to your client. When the project is done, I step back until the next one.
What this looks like in practice
Every agency hits a point where a client needs something beyond design and content. A WordPress plugin that does something specific. A site that's slow and nobody knows why. Hosting that needs migrating. A custom build that's beyond what page builders offer. An integration between two systems that should talk to each other but don't.
These are the problems I solve. I've been doing it long enough that most technical problems look familiar, even when the specifics are new.
